This hammer is designed especially for stamping on metal or leather. Also works well to flatten wire.
The brass distributes your strike evenly into your stamp- less likelihood of double impressions than using a steel hammer!
Head weighs just under 1 pound and is securely fastened. Flat on one side and ball peen on the other for shaping and texturing.
Comfortable grip measures about 7 inches long.
